Four new members in the Scientific Advisory Board

The JPI HDHL welcomes four new members in the Scientific Advisory Board: For area 1, Prof. Dr. Carl Lachat from Ghent University in Belgium; for area 2, Dr. Catherine Stanton from Teagasc Food Research Centre and APC Microbiome at University College Cork in Ireland and Dr. Kaisa Poutanen from VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and for area 3, Dr. Christophe Matthys from Leuven University in Belgium.

Prof. Lachat’s expertise lies in the field of nutritional epidemiology and food and nutrition policies. Dr. Stanton is an expert in nutrition, food and health with a special focus on dairy foods, probiotics and gut microbiota. Dr. Poutanen’s expertise focusses on food technology, food and health, cereals, dietary fibers and bioprocessing. Dr. Matthys completes the Scientific Advisory Board with his expertise in clinical nutrition, obesity and obesity-related diseases as well as diet and lifestyle interventions.

We are happy to have the four new members on board and we are looking forward to working with them! We also want to express our gratitude to the leaving members wishing them the best for the future and hoping we will continue to meet each other.
